Humanity Chapter VI

Humanity Chapter VI is the 6th installment in the humanity series, and explores the darker side of humanity. It has taken me several years to finish as it went through several versions before ultimately being completed in January 2026. For the album, I recorded Bulgarian singers, several vocalists including Kimera Morrell, Ekaterina Shelehova, virtuoso guitarist Claudio Pietronik, Capellen Orchestra and Choir, and Bulgarian orchestra Four For Music.

The massive orchestra and choir is the cornerstone of the music, creating a sonic world that is quite a lot darker than the preceding albums in the series. Some of the music even harks back to the days of Two Steps From Hell with titles like Hope, Empire of Evil and For the Fallen, while titles like Creator of Worlds and Maluk explore a much more mature and artistic composition style I've come to enjoy in later years.

Balancing the complex with the accessible remains the greatest challenge in my music, but it's also what I find the most enjoyable in the end and I hope that effort comes through in the music.

Some listeners may be surprised by some new experimental tracks like Burn it Down, which features myself rapping (!) and singing on top of a massively epic symphonic metal arrangement, and others may enjoy the virtuosic performance of Claudio Pietronik on the Bach-inspired Toccata in G-Minor, or the musical rendition of a familiar doorbell major third interval in Death Rings the Doorbell of All.
